Retainer Services

Retainer clients benefit from an all-inclusive ongoing media relations program that includes strategic planning and implementation over a set period of time. This allows for continuity in the marketplace as well as ample time to educate the media about you, and to establish us as your public relations representative. This generally involves:

  • Identification of short & long term objectives for a
    strategic communications campaign

  • Identification of the target audience & target media
    outlets
  • Development of a strong, consistent message
    & public relations identity
  • Ongoing client counsel about media relations

  • Development & maintenance of press kits

  • Ongoing help in positioning the company in the
    marketplace

  • Publicity for all company events is covered by one
monthly fee (over a agreed-upon term)

Project Services

Project work has been a specialty at Hamilton Ink since the beginning. Many of our clients have an event they want publicized such as an art show opening, a film festival, or a performing art series. Project services typically begin three months prior to the opening date and end when the event or project is completed. Within this time frame we perform the following:

  • Determine your objectives for the project and suggest
    options for delivering your message

  • Identify your target audience and target media

  • Develop and assemble media kit materials – press
release, photos, and other promotional materials.

  • Implement a comprehensive media relations campaign
in print, radio and television - to ensure maximum
    coverage for your project/event.

  • On site presence to help coordinate media appointments
    - as needed

Media Reports

At the end of a project or term, Hamilton Ink provides clients with a Media Report that includes copies (and originals) of print and web media coverage. For an additional fee, Hamilton Ink will include a PR Trak report showing the relative value of the PR coverage you received as compared to the equivalent coverage in advertising dollars.

PROFILE (Back to Top)
Learn about our company.

Pam Hamilton founded Hamilton Ink in 1985 after a 17-year broadcast media career in New York City. During that tenure, she held senior management positions with the CBS Radio Network, where she was Director of Sales Promotion and RKO Radio Networks, where she worked as Vice President, Creative Services for the two news networks and the syndicated entertainment network. In these roles, she had full responsibilities in the areas of advertising, sales promotion, special event planning and public relations. She worked with national talent on media tours, promotional programs and sponsor-based events, while handling national, regional and local media. Many of the on-air personalities are still prominent in the industry. Pam is active in the local community, serving as past president and board member of the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce and other community endeavors. Normally a rational person, Pam continues to root for the New York Jets.

Stephanie Clarke has been a senior associate at Hamilton Ink since 1992. She and Pam helped grow the company and establish the client roster it now enjoys. She took a short hiatus in 2000-2001 to work as Director of Communications for an internet security firm, but returned to Hamilton Ink in 2002. In addition to her extensive media work, her background includes entertainment, film, music and live event production. She has helped manage a number of musicians and songwriters and has worked with record labels from concept to distribution. Of the many live music events she has produced throughout the years, she is proud to include a star-studded concert for the 52nd Presidential Inauguration in Washington, DC.; a number of live music & film events and tributes for the Mill Valley Film Festival, and an all-star concert at the Beacon Theater, NYC for the release of Rob Wasserman TRIOS album.

Serene Moussa (Buckley) first joined Hamilton Ink in 2004 and holds a BA in Communications from UC Santa Barbara, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with distinction in her major. Drawing from her experience as Editorial Intern at The Santa Barbara Independent, Serene has quickly grown to become a savvy public relations professional and one of Hamilton Ink PR’s best assets, helping to manage and execute all aspects of PR for the company’s eclectic client base. She offers a fresh perspective on everything in the business, especially in the critical area of strategic messaging, brand development, and placement - from “new media” such as web/viral outlets to traditional streams such as television, radio and print.

Clara Franco joined Hamilton Ink in 2005, bringing a diverse knowledge of media, production, and cultural sensitivity to the team. Born in El Salvador and raised in Petaluma, CA, Clara is bilingual in both English and Spanish which is an asset for the company’s relations with Latino and Hispanic media. After graduating from San Marcos State University with a B.A. in Visual and Performing Arts, Clara worked in television production in Los Angeles for well known networks such as E!, NBC, and FOX. Her repertoire includes working on a variety of reality-based TV shows such as The Anna Nicole Show, The Apprentice, and Nanny 911.  As a Production Manager for both San Francisco Independent Cinema and White Light Studios, Clara executed a wide range of duties including overseeing SAG contract relations, hiring of crew, on-location work, and maintaining production budget and schedule. This diverse background has Clara tapped into current pop culture trends and has helped develop her eye for captivating message framing.

Gabrielle Harris
has been pursuing her career in Public Relations since participating in a highly competitive summer internship program in 2000 with Vanguard Communications, a non-profit PR firm in Washington D.C. Holding a B.A. in International Relations and a Minor in Communications, Gabrielle first came on board at Hamilton Ink in May 2006, furthering her knowledge regarding the creation of successful PR campaigns focused in the San Francisco Bay Area market. In 2007 she left Hamilton Ink and accepted a position as an in-house Marketing and Publicity Manager for a restaurant company based in Marin County, increasing visibility of the brand name. With great excitement she returned to Hamilton Ink in the fall of 2008 where her penchant for networking and media outreach is of crucial importance for executing each of the company’s campaigns.
